Firstly, let me say once again, how fantastic this new strip of you really is, and that one day I have ABSOLUTE FAITH that you will do a book of these.

Next question: what's the job, did you get it?

Sorry, two questions.

Now I know what your comics remind me of: "Hate!" by Peter Bagge. Mostly because I just bought a collection of his strips in a local comic book store yesterday. Buddy Bradley and all those other people don´t really know what to do with themselves either.

The more realistic look of your face is great, it´s gets more personal this way - cartoony figures are always a bit more... abstract. Great contrast.

This is a great strip.... I have been in this situation before. In fact I think the question asked me was, name a specific time that something you did failed, and how did you handle that...

Nothing came to mind....

i took it to mean you did not get the job, but i could also see where you might have got the job but found that you really did not want it after all. which?

This is pretty good ... but it would be awesome if, in the last panel, the letter was on fire.

Fantastic work! I hope you are making a book of strips like this, as someone else suggested. It seems obvious that this is a rejection letter and that it hurts...not sure why anyone would be confused by that. Maybe because of the title "Love Letter", which I assumed you meant ironically. Or maybe I am the confused one?

Anyway, beautiful work!

I can feel the rejection and know the pain first hand. Your graphic imagery is just wonderful. I can see your art taking on a life of its own, with no more rejection in sight. Great work!

Been there too many damn times...

I especially like the angle of life change hanging on one job, one interview, one test, one exam, one... whatever.

It's way to easy to bundle everything up into one thing and it's always such a bad idea. You can see that you've touched a raw one with so many people. Well done.

I'm sorry about the job but it made for a great strip. Not great because you failed, great because you were so successful in creating a raw emotional response from everyone who read it. It's beautifully simple and yet speaks volumes. I'm a big fan of your work, keep it up no matter where you wind up living. Best of luck with everything.

This comic is fantastic and I agree with Steve, you will have a book of these one day. I can relate to this being stuck in limbo land, subbing for four years and not getting a teaching job 'cause I wasn't a cheerleader or football player in highschool--four years of subbing, janitorial and factory jobs. If only I put my misfortune and angst to good use like you did!
