self deprecating make out fun!

Jeannette Langmead Illustration Sketchblog Make Out Comic

I was stuck inside all day today and I drew and colored this without the help of a keyboard. Actually, not having a keyboard probably helped.

But, I have one again. So here I am.

FIRST COMMENT! WOOOT!

This is great. I especially like the "putting the hair behind the ear" gesture. You could try making a webcomic, considering that the Jeanette-Doll postcards had a nice comic-style as well. It has some sort of mid-90ies US indie-comics flair to it.

Also, what happened to your keyboard?

One thing I don“t get - is that guy sucking his thumb or tongue-kissing his own hand? Reminds me of this one dude you drew that had arrows going through his head.

I ripped my keyboard out of my computer and stomped the shit out of it.

And he's making out with his own hand. Because apparently he'd rather do that.

This would make a cool quote to print on t-shirts.

And that guy seems to be a douche. (Heh, new word learned!)

Ha ha! I thought the guy was sniffling, wiping his snots on his hand or something. This is so tragic yet funny. Young love--love in general can suck. Anyhow, love your work--wow, having fun getting caught up, seeing all your drawings and ideas. I need to stop by more often.

Hey Jeannette, if you wanna print out that turtle picture, you're more than welcome. I'm real flattered actually and understand the lack of $ thing.

ouch - that's painful

this is really good - I love one page comics - its a perfect size because who the hell is going to take the time to read anything longer, but you can still tell a story.
