80s

Jeannette Langmead Illustration Sketchblog Old Lady

I drew this old lady while watching Harold and Maude (1971). Practicing my wrinkles. She's looks good for 80.

Everyone knows what happens to Maude on her 80th birthday, right?

And this is my 20th Illustration Friday post.

The scary part is if we are lucky we are all going to be 80. Cool drawing!

The 80s are approaching fast, I fear. I hope I look as good as your subject. And, yes, that was a great movie.

In art school they did try to bring in an old man model one time...but every minute or two he'd slam down his cane and yell "What the heck do you people keep looking at?!?"...it wasn't a very productive session...

This is great! I really think your drawings are great! I met Bud Cort years ago at a party. That was one of my favourite movies in the 80's and it holds up real well!

Harold and Maude is my all time favorite movie. (Why didn't I think of it?)
Nice sketch.
I think I'll celebrate my 80th with a cartwheel instead of a coulple of pills though.

Great idea. When the theme 80's came up, I didn't think there would be so many possibilities.
