Thanksgiving Sucks Anyway
My finished Thanksgiving card, slow cooked and ready just in time for Illustration Friday. I'm not a big fan of this topic, though (or looking through dozens of illustrations of dead turkeys and clichéd Natives on IF).

My turkey is still alive - just. If that count. I was going to do one sneeking away from the table while everyone was buzy praying.Maybe later this week.
Love your illustration. Mine isn't the typical steriotyped pic as I'm an Aussie therefore Thanksgiving doesn't mean the same thing for me!
Excellent work! Love your humorous take here. I've had the Quorn Vegetarian turkey and it tastes pretty amazing surprisingly (all of Quorn's stuff is good actually).
I like the fact that he´s called "Henry". That´s a pretty good name for a turkey!
And on a sidenote, it turns out that after so many people complained about this weeks topic (myself included) some people are trying to get something as non-generic as possible, which is a nice challenge. You did that well. (I like how your hand-series is going!)

Looks like a scene at the Fresh Market. The hiring practices of the tofu maker must be interesting. I like your layout. The tile addition is GREAT! I remember when grocery stores used to have those! Your turkey looks worried, though. Shouldn't he be happy peddling tofu? :)
I agree with you on the cliches, but what else can one do?! Like this one though. Have a Happy Thanksgiving anyway.
