When I was in high school, in Florida, I took American Sign Language for two years. So, now I'm attempting to illustrate the ASL alphabet to hopefully improve my hand drawing skills.

Wonderful interpretation of Alphabet and great drawing. I too, with FY, have a hand fetish.
Really great, hands are tough.
These look good, and I love this take on "alphabets". Maybe I should do a similar exercise-- I literally missed the day in my life drawing class where we learned to draw hands and feet.
That sounds like an great project. I think that you are off to a great start.
